I was diagnosed with discoid lupus erythematosis by a dermatologist, and though I remain unconvinced of his diagnosis, (I really think it is severe sun damage) the fact still remains that I have, because of this, a large unsightly mark on my cheek, it has caused strong discoloration and blotches on my face, and I have felt so uncomfortable with people always looking and asking me "what HAVE you done!"
